While Fancy shape diamonds are typically graded for polish and symmetry only, the GCAL 8X Oval and 8X Princess Cut focus on eight critical factors, uniquely analyzing each Fancy shape <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Gem Certification & Assurance Lab (GCAL), world renowned for accurate, consistent, and ethical gemstone grading, and more recently for the creation of the 8X\u2122 ultimate diamond cut grade for round brilliants, has announced the creation, and launch of the 8X\u2122 Fancy Shape Diamond Cut Grade.\u00a0\u00a0 While fancy shape diamonds are typically graded for polish and symmetry only, GCAL has introduced a new standard that focuses on eight critical factors, uniquely analyzing each fancy shape.\u00a0 These include Polish, External Symmetry, Proportions, Optical Brilliance, Fire, Scintillation, Optical Symmetry, and Shape Aesthetics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the upcoming JCK Show in Las Vegas, GCAL will introduce the 8X\u2122 Oval and the 8X\u2122 Princess Diamond Cut Grade, Guaranteed Certificate.<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong>Additional 8X Fancies will be introduced later this year.\u00a0 And as with all GCAL and GCAL 8X certificates, the company stands behind their 8X Fancy shape certs with a zero tolerance 4C\u2019s, money-backed consumer guarantee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
