GCAL Newsletter 6/8/20: GCAL is Open and Accepting Submissions

Hello again from GCAL.

For the first time since March 20th, the GCAL Lab is open and fully operational. And it feels great to be back. We are hopeful and confident for the future, yet recognize the profound challenges that lie ahead for us all.

At GCAL, we have gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of our team, including masks, gloves, appropriate distancing and plexi-glass barriers between stations, increased cleaning and sanitizing of workstations and common areas, mandatory testing prior to returning to work, and additional steps to maintain the health of our team, and the continuity of our business.

Whether you need Guaranteed Diamond Certification, High Quality 360 Videos, Hi-Res Photomicrographs, Direct Assessment Light Performance, Metal Engraving, Gemprint Positive Identification, or Diamond Inscription, we are operational, accepting shipments and in-person submissions, and are ready to help you get back to business. We also recognize the need for quick turnaround time, and are processing accordingly.

All of us at GCAL and Gemprint stand united with the peaceful protesters around the world who are standing up for justice within a system that has for too long supported unequal rights, bigotry, and racism. We have much to learn. But we are listening and are committed to long term change that starts right now. Black lives do matter.

At the same time, we are sickened by the criminal acts of violence that left many in our industry, closed behind boarded-up windows and doors, while experiencing physical damage and theft.

With continuing heartfelt sympathy to any of you who have lost a loved one… with hope for a speedy recovery to those who are ill… please stay safe and be well. We look forward to seeing you and working with you the instant you are ready.

Sincerely,

Don, Pam, & Angelo Palmieri, Steve Feldman, & The GCAL Team
